"I write only because there is a voice within me that will not be still." Sylvia Plath

I was just thinking about child rearing, the Nazis, the abortion clinic exposed in Philly this week, and how child rearing and church doctrine contribute to all the ills in society…and when you think about things there are hidden truths everywhere that begin to shine…and it reminded me that truth about God is like…the stars in the heavens…

You can walk outside into the dark and look up and see nothing…until your eyes adjust…then…the stars just start appearing. The longer you look the more stars you can see…the more light reaches you…

God’s like that…He’s like those beautiful lights in the darkness…(Psalm 19)

You can look “into the darkness” of your life and see no hope…you can look at this dark world full of evil and suckish stuff and see no light…no hope…but if you set your mind to allow your “eyes” to “adjust” you will begin to see those lights shining through that darkness…And, even in situations that aren’t “dark” God is just sprinkled everywhere in everything…all you have to do is look and allow your eyes to adjust…and there He is…sparkling like glitter in the sand…

God is the same yesterday, today, n’ forever…and so are the stars…right? Even the world looks to the stars for guidance and self-definition…(horoscopes)…and our calendar is based on the stars…and the sun which the earth revolves around…

If only we as a human race were to revolved around the Son the same way? If only we all looked to the light that God is in the darkness the way we look to the stars for self-definition and guidance…If only we would approach God the same way we approach the night sky…with awe and wonder…and the end result would be the same as it is when you do star-gaze…relaxation and peace… (Matt. 11:28)

…For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
Romans 1…

“The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.” Psalm 19…

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matt. 11:28
